Wild Cyclamen - botanical illustration

This original botanical study presents cyclamen at different stages of growth, with soft pink blossoms rising on slender stems above richly patterned, heart-shaped leaves. The composition balances delicacy and structure, capturing the plant’s quiet elegance and natural, wild rhythm.

Fully painted elements are contrasted with pencil drawings, colour swatches, and notes, offering insight into my creative process.

This work has been presented during the annual exhibition of the Society of Botanical Artist in London, in 2023.
