Weronika Anna Rosa is a contemporary artiste who explores, through botanical iconography, the ways in which memory, emotions, and time intertwine.

Passionate about colour, she carefully prepares vibrant pigment combinations, employs meticulous brushstrokes and sinuous, dancing lines that define her distinctive style.

Her work has been presented in numerous exhibitions across Europe, alongside collaborations with institutions, such as Victoria and Albert Museum, Fundação Oriente, National Museum of Natural History and Science in Lisbon, Embassy of Poland in Portugal, among others.

Rosa works with various media to create diverse textures, scales, and volumes. Deeply appreciative of artistic heritage, noble materials, and traditions of savoir-faire, Rosa combines these influences with a contemporary sensibility.

Drawings

Drawing is a way to understand and record careful observations of plants, capture their movements, and note their palette. Rosa draws on the tradition of botanical art, yet through her illustrations she interprets nature with audacity.
