Constellation of Two - original painting

from the series: Souvenirs from faraway places I have never been

Hundreds of dots interconnected in two bodies create a kind of celestial hemisphere and reflect their inseparable bond.Their constellation suggests shared origins and the eternal echo between two beings - two lives unfolding side by side, flowers growing on the same stalk, Gemini stars and mother with her child. One is part of each other. 

This painting represents a very rare Paphiopedilum hybrid orchid from the Orchid Collection at the Luxembourg Garden in Paris.
