In evolutionary theory, ADAPTATION is the biological mechanism by which organisms adjust to new environments or changes. It’s basically the process of becoming adapted to different conditions.

Orchids possess an extraordinary ability to adapt to diverse environments, from jungles through mountains to deserts. But wherever they live, orchids are DEEPLY ROOTED in their habitats and form complex relationships with the elements of their surroundings. To survive in changing conditions, they transform their roots, leaves, seeds, and even pollination methods. Nevertheless, every time, it takes hundreds of years to adjust. In many ways, we are similar to orchids. Sometimes we need time to adapt before we can bloom again.
